Getting to know Tijuana Cartel

Gold Coast dance act Tijuana Cartel have recently released their new single, Minimal Stuffing. Their trumpet player Eamon, tells us more:

We are… Tijuana Cartel, a 4-piece band mostly hailing from the Gold Coast.

Minimal Stuffing is… a product of lockdown where we are confronted with ourselves and ego so abruptly. Learning to live in a small bubble with a small group of people forces many of our demons out into the open, highlighting us in a truly whole fashion. Minimal Stuffing presents a more focused true form of where we are in this moment without the influence of life on the road.

Home is… being on the road with mates that accept you as you are.

I spend too much time… perusing memes on the internet.

I’ve never… eaten a whole orange. Something about the skin doesn’t taste good to me.

It might surprise people to learn that… we are big in Mexico… but not for music ha!
