Premiere: Cassa Jackson – He’s No You
We’re excited to today premiere the video from London based soul-pop singer-songwriter Cassa Jackson for her new single, He’s No You. This new single is lifted from her debut 5-track EP of the same name.
The title track and Beautiful Confused from the EP both feature in The CW’s hit sci-fi series ‘Pandora’. Drawing on a myriad of influences from soul, pop and RnB and nods to fellow luminaries such as Miley Cyrus, Julia Michaels and Dua Lipa, Cassa adds a modern pop twist, coupled with autobiographical lyrics detailing the highs and lows of young love and life.
Cassa says, “The music video for He’s No You features model Daisy Jelley (Tik Tok star and face Of Charlotte Tilbury) and it is a short-film type music video. I think this might be the coolest music video I’ve made as it has such a clear narrative and it gets so epic towards the end with the girl running through the night back to her ex-boyfriend’s house – it’s a real story of the song and I’m so excited for people to see it!”
