Interview: Getting to know Bad JuJu

Melbourne-based alternative rock group Bad Juju have just revealed their new single. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

We are… a 5-piece alt rock / grunge band named Bad Juju. 

In The Clouds is… our new single! It’s a song that aims to encourage people not to give up on their dreams. 

Home is… Melbourne, it’s been an amazing place to grow up and play music.

I spend too much time… looking at guitar gear to buy on Facebook marketplace, it’s been a money pit over the last few years. 

I’ve never… played shows in the NT or WA. I’d love to get over there and play now that COVID is fairly stable. 

It might surprise people to learn that… the name ‘Bad Juju’ originated from an exotic weapon featured in the video game ‘Destiny’ that majority of the band played at the time.
