Getting to know Ally Row

Melbourne-based two-piece Ally Row have just unveiled their debut single, why do i care. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

Ally Row is… an indie folk pop duo from Melbourne – currently travelling up the East Coast of NSW & QLD.

why do I care is… our debut single coming out 29th July this year – we hope it’s a bop!

Home is… with our doggo Peanut, eating homemade guac with corn chips while watching Seasons 6-10 of The Simpsons.

We spend too much time… criticising ourselves and walking around singing famous songs and replace the original lyrics with our dog’s name “Peanut” i.e. In California Dreamin’, instead of “all the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey,” we say, “Peanut is a dog, and he is so cute”.

We’ve never… gone to New Zealand and we really want to.

It might surprise people to learn that… Alice is a real estate and car photographer and Rowan spent 3 years doing a fine arts course before decided he wanted to be a musician. (HECs ain’t ever seeing that money again!)
