Photos: Royal Blood in Bristol

Live music is back in the UK, baby! With restrictions having been lifted in England, gigs have started cropping up all over the place, as the music industry starts to rebuild after a crippling 16 months.

Brighton duo Royal Blood were back with a bang at the O2 in Bristol this week, playing their first show since their latest album, Typhoons, hit number one. They played exactly the kind of set that fans, who hadn’t been to a gig since forever, could only have dreamed of seeing during the interminable winter lockdown.

Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher rocked the life out of the venue in front of a sold-out crowd, belting out familiar hits and newer favourites from this year’s Typhoons.
