Our top ten tunes of the week – February 11

These are the songs that have been getting us going over the past seven days:

1. Body Type – Sex & Rage

The Sydney act have dropped their first new music in three years, and announced that their debut album, Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing’s Surprising, will land on May 20th via Poison City Records.

2 Confidence Man – Feels Like A Different Thing 

Check out the no-holds-barred single from Confidence Man’s forthcoming sophomore album TILT – out Friday 1st April.

3. Squiggles – This is a Wake Up Call

This is the new project from Niall McCamley, drummer of much-missed Scottish band, The Spook School. Welcome back Niall!

4. Hayden James – Hold Tight

The Sydney producer has announced that his forthcoming sophomore album, LIFTED, will be released on April 8th via Future Classic.

5. Hermitude – Promises feat. Andie

Hermitude’s seventh studio album, Mirror Mountain, is set to land on May 6. Here’s a taste, featuring fellow Blue Mountains-born artist, Andie.

6. Mothica – Casualty

This is the US alt-pop artist’s first single since signing to Rise Records & BMG.

7. Megan Knight – My Drama

The Nashville artist, who was a contestant in Season 18 of American Idol, has dropped a new track.

8. Joesef – It’s Been A Little Heavy Lately 

The rising Scottish star is set to perform at SXSW, has shows in LA and New York, and will embark on his biggest UK tour yet.

9. Matthew Young – Boneheaded

The New Zealand alt-pop artist has dropped his newest single and video.

10. Mylk – Passive

The Melbourne alt-rock band have dropped a new single, which serves as a follow up to their debut EP Excursion.
