Getting to know Greg Gould
Melbourne pop artist Greg Gould, recently released his new single, Who Gave You Permission. We asked him to tell us about himself:
I am… A LOT haha – I’m a singer who loves to create meaningful music that matters. I love to write from life experiences and not afraid to tackle tough topics in my music and my videos. I’m a 36 year old gay man who’s been through a lot in those 36 years of life. I do believe the best is yet to come and I’m a very driven, passionate human who will always work hard and live my life to the fullest. Life is what YOU make it.
2024 has so far… been SO FRICKEN FAST! How is it May already?! I’m excited for what the rest of this year has in store though and releasing my new original album and touring it. My year has been busy putting those final touches on the album and planing some big shows and also slowly planning my wedding to my beautiful partner Bradley.
My upcoming live shows will be… well you always have a fun night our at a GG show.. I’m cheeky and don’t take myself too seriously. I def will sing my heart out for you and try n tell these songs / stories with compassion, truth and energy.
Home is… wow.. for someone like me who’s been thru so much – that question hits… well HOME! Home has always been for me where my loved ones are. Be it my blood relations who I connect with most or my chosen family – home for me is definitely where my heart resides.
I spend too much time… on my phone. Don’t we all?? I’m constantly on 1% battery LOL
I’m getting better at it. I take days off – have to!! But yes it’s cos I work a lot behind the scenes and social media is a huge part to what I do as an independent artist. I procrastinate too much also, and I’m a perfectionist but that is because I care!
I’ve never… been more excited to release or perform anything more than my brand new album. CAN. NOT. WAIT.!!!!!
