Getting to Know Fool Nelson
WA-based indie rock act Fool Nelson recently released their new EP, Falling Apart. We asked them to tell us about themselves:
We are… Fool Nelson, an indie rock 3 piece based out of Boorloo Perth.
‘Falling Apart’ is… our brand new EP!! We’re stoked to have these songs out as we’ve been working on them for a while now. We recorded all the tracks with Andy Lawson over the course of 2023 and feel like we really got to spend some time developing the songs into something that sounds unique to us.
Home is… split up between Perth and Busselton.
We listen to… a whole bunch of different music but have definitely been listening to a lot of Slow Pulp, Alvvays and Pinegrove recently.
We spend too much time… arguing about who has the best music taste.
We’ve never… all been on time for a rehearsal.
It might surprise people to learn that… we started playing together when we were kids. We were all in primary school when we met and started jamming and after high school we started Fool Nelson.
