Brisbane indie-rock act The Urban Sea who recently dropped their new single, My Own Time. We asked them to tell us about themselves:
We are… a group of indie rockers navigating the push and pull of life, turning the chaos into tunes you can sing along to.
2024 has so far been… a rollercoaster of late nights, new songs, and prepping for big things ahead. We’ve been hitting the studio hard and getting ready to share what we’ve been working on.
Our music is like… a late-night road trip soundtrack – equal parts vibe, depth, and a little bit of edge.
Our upcoming single/album/tour will be… a mix of emotional punch and groove that’ll have you moving, thinking, and probably humming along. Get ready for our new EP Sunsets and Silhouettes and an East Coast tour to go with it!
Home is… somewhere between the city lights and the quiet of the ocean. Or wherever we can plug in and play.
We spend too much time… filling out spreadsheets, drowning in emails, and trying to crack the code of endless social media expectations. Turns out, making music is only half the job—who knew?
We never… miss a gig, turn down an encore, or pass up the chance to rate a good servo meat pie on the road.
