Bloc Party add new date to Australian tour

Bloc Party are celebrating 20 Years with an Australian tour and they’ve just added a new date due to overwhelming demand.

The British indie rock band are set to commemorate two decades of musical innovation with a tour across Australia and New Zealand in August 2025. The tour will feature a complete live performance of their seminal debut album, Silent Alarm, alongside a selection of their greatest hits.​

They have added a second and final show in Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion on Thursday 31 July, on sale now.

Special Guests: Young The Giant

Joining Bloc Party on this tour are American rock band Young The Giant, marking their first Australian visit in 14 years. Known for hits like “Cough Syrup” and “My Body,” Young The Giant’s dynamic performances are set to complement Bloc Party’s electrifying shows.​
