Getting to know Chuck Sics

Chuck Sics recently released his debut single, Redo. We asked him to tell us about himself:

I am… Chuck Sics, an artist and multi-instrumentalist from Eora/Sydney.

2025 has so far been… stressful, but very exciting. I’ve been working on my music for a long time now, and I’m so happy to have it finally coming out.

My upcoming  EP will be… good. I hope so at least. I’ve taken my time with it – painstakingly so, to the detriment of my sleep – but I’m lucky to have the support of my friends, family and my team, who’ve really helped me feel confident to start putting out music.

Home is… Where the heart is. And also, Byron Bay. I love going back there, but most of my life has been split between Sydney and Byron.

I spend too much time… working at a bar. Watching video essays. Watching movies. But honestly I love that stuff so it’s all good. My job is great too.

I’ve never… played a show as Chuck Sics before, but I will be very soon. July 11th at The Trocadero Room in Enmore, Eora/Sydney. If you’re in town, come hang.
