Our top ten tunes of the month – June 2025
We’ve been digging plenty of songs this month and here are our ten favourites. Check them out:
1. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers – UNSCARRED
Fresh from wrapping their US tour with Pearl Jam and having played headline shows in NYC, LA and Toronto, the band’s new song was written after hearing about a friend’s failed situationship with a male musician.
2. Jim Bob – A Song By Me
The legendary artist has two new albums, Automatic and Stick, coming out on the same day this August.
3. Purity Ring – many lives + part ii
“In a lot of ways, many lives + pt ii is the epicentre of things we’ve been working on recently,” say Purity Ring.
4. Caroline Polachek – On The Beach
The former Chairlift artist has delivered the title track for game, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
5. Wednesday – Wound Up Here (By Holdin On)

6. Chitra – Autumn
This is the final single from the Naarm-based singer-songwriter ahead of her independently released debut LP, You Can See It When It’s Dark, out August 1st.
7. HOLLY – Something Sexy
The Sydney-based artist said: “Something Sexy is a playful little secret—it’s about intimacy, freedom, and the thrill of being wanted without being owned. It’s a hide-and-seek love letter, the kind you leave behind on a pillow or whisper in the dark.”
8. MOSS SIDE SAUNA CLUB – MY WEIRD APPETITE
This is the second single from the Maddy, Sam and Will and is accompanied by a VHS collage video.
9. Abby Wallace – Atlantic Blue
The Tasmanian indie-pop artist has returned with a new single.
10. Felicity – I’ll Have What He’s Having
The track is the second single from the Perth-born, Nashville based artist’s upcoming EP 4pm In The Morning, set for release on the 1st of August.
