Architects are returning to Australia

UK metal titans Architects are returning to Australia this December for three colossal, not-to-be-missed shows, bringing their seismic live energy to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Joining them for the ride are rising post-hardcore force House of Protection and genre-bending powerhouse PRESIDENT, making this a triple bill of uncompromising intensity.
Following a global headline run and critical acclaim for their last two albums, “The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit” and “The Sky, the Earth & All Between”, Architects return leaner, heavier, and more focused than ever. Known for their atmospheric intensity and stadium-sized riffs, the band’s recent live sets have leaned into their heavier catalogue, thrilling longtime fans while continuing to evolve sonically. They’ve recently headlined major EU/UK festivals, launched their own sustainability-focused merch initiatives, and teased new material rumored for late 2025.
After exploding onto the scene in 2024, House of Protection have become one of the most talked-about new acts in heavy music. Formed in 2024 by Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta (formerly of Fever 333), their two EPs, “GALORE” and “Outrun You All”, mix electronic rock, post-hardcore, and industrial chaos with razor-sharp energy. Produced by Jordan Fish (ex-BMTH), their sound is futuristic and feral. Their music video for “Pulling Teeth” was filmed in a live carnival stunt show in India and they’ve been featured on Spotify’s Artists to Watch 2025.
PRESIDENT first drew attention in February 2025 after being announced for Download Festival despite having no released music, sparking intrigue and speculation. They soon launched an Instagram account filled with cryptic teasers. Their debut single, “In The Name of the Father,” arrived on May 15 and fans began linking the group to Sleep Token and Crosses due to visual similarities and shared industry connections, with ongoing rumors suggesting Charlie Simpson may be involved.
A follow-up single, “Fearless,” dropped in June ahead of their debut performance at Download Festival 2025.
