Thrice announce 2026 Australian and NZ tour

THRICE ANNOUNCE 2026 AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND TOUR

Acclaimed California rock veterans Thrice will return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 for their first headline tour in over a decade. The run follows their sold-out 2025 North American tour and coincides with the release of their forthcoming twelfth studio album, Horizons/West, due October 3, 2025, through Epitaph Records. The tour begins on Wednesday, 29 April in Auckland before making its way through Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in early May.

Formed in 1998, Thrice—featuring vocalist and guitarist Dustin Kensrue, guitarist and keyboardist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge and drummer Riley Breckenridge—have long been celebrated as one of the most inventive and emotionally resonant bands in modern rock. Known for their genre-defying evolution, the group rose to prominence with early post-hardcore records such as The Illusion of Safety and The Artist in the Ambulance, before expanding their sound with progressive and atmospheric releases like Vheissu, Beggars, and Horizons/East.

In recent years, Thrice has remained as prolific and ambitious as ever. The upcoming Horizons/West serves as a direct continuation of 2021’s Horizons/East, exploring modern anxieties and social themes through layered, dynamic songwriting. The band previewed the record earlier this year with the single “Gnash,” offering a glimpse into their evolving sound and introspective lyricism.

The 2026 Australian and New Zealand tour promises to showcase the full scope of Thrice’s catalogue, from early fan favourites to their most recent material. Known for their raw energy, technical precision, and emotional depth, Thrice continue to captivate audiences with live performances that balance intensity and intimacy.
