The Streets announce 2026 Australian tour

The Streets will be heading to Aus to perform A Grand Don’t Come for Free in full.

For those of us who grew up in the UK during the early 2000s, The Streets weren’t just a band — they were the soundtrack to real life. Mike Skinner managed to turn everyday moments — heartbreak, hangovers, late-night buses, and everything in between — into poetry. His storytelling was honest, raw, funny, and painfully relatable. It felt like someone was finally putting words to what life actually looked and sounded like.

Now, more than twenty years since A Grand Don’t Come for Free first dropped, The Streets are bringing that record — in its entirety — to Australia in March 2026. It’s a proper full-circle moment for so many of us who still know every word.

Originally released in 2004, A Grand Don’t Come for Free hit number one in the UK, went multi-platinum, and cemented The Streets as one of the most important British voices of their generation. Tracks like “Fit But You Know It,” “Blinded by the Lights,” and “Dry Your Eyes” are still absolute anthems — each one a snapshot of a time, place, and feeling that’s hard to forget.

This will be the first time the album is performed live in full — a rare chance to relive that story from start to finish, with all the grit, humour, and heart that made it legendary.
