Pixies set for November 2025 Australia and NZ tour

For nearly four decades, Pixies have stood as one of the most influential and revered bands in alternative rock history. Emerging from Boston’s underground scene in the late ‘80s, their raw fusion of noise, melody, and surreal lyricism reshaped guitar music forever — laying the groundwork for everyone from Nirvana to Radiohead. Their landmark albums Surfer Rosa (1988), Doolittle (1989), Bossanova (1990) and Trompe Le Monde (1991) continue to inspire musicians and fans alike, proving that the band’s sonic DNA still pulses through modern music.

Now, in 2025, Pixies return to Australia and New Zealand for a very special tour celebrating both their legacy and continued evolution. Each city will host two nights: the first featuring full performances of Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde, and the second delivering a career-spanning “Classic Pixies” set — packed with the songs that defined generations, plus tracks from their acclaimed new album The Night the Zombies Came.
