Embrace Kirin J Callinan’s nakedness

In the moderately nsfw video for EMBRACISM, Kirin J Callinan yells: “A man can meet another man in a bar. On the sportsfield. At his place of work. Or in his own apartment. OR ON THE INTERNET RIGHT NOW.” It’s thrilling and gripping and further illustrates the Sydneysider as one of the most interesting, daring and exhilarating contemporary Australian musicians.

The clip is sexual, aggressive, sensual, hallucinogenic and as full-on as we have come to expect from the artist since the demise of his former band, Mercy Arms. It leaves us absolutely aching for the release of his debut album, EMBRACISM, which hits our ears on 28th June 2013, through Siberia Records & Terrible Records/XL Recordings.

We caught Kirin live lately (review here) and absolutely recommend that you do too. If you are in Europe/USA/AUS/NZ over the next couple of months, then you can see him at one of these venues.
