Interview: Getting to know Glitoris

We asked Glitoris to tell us about themselves:

We are… Glitoris. A fast, fearless and furious band from Canberra.

Spit Hood is… aferocious attack of failings in the criminal justice system. Spit Hood is a protest track about the overrepresentation of Aboriginal people in youth detention centres. Its an attack on individuals within our criminal justice system, who continue to abuse their positions of power and get away with it. We’re sick of the lack of accountability and wide-spread apathy. Spit Hood is a way to remind the public that this issue needs attention.

Our current tour is… amazing. We’re going all over the country with Regurgitator on their Headroom Tour and loving every minute of it. We’re currently in Hobart.

Home is… Canberra, ACT.

We spend too much time… drinking gin and chatting.

We’ve never… released a full length album. In November we drop out debut album “The Policy” and we’re so damn excited to share it with the world.

It might surprise people to learn that… Malcolm, Andrew, Tony and Keven are not our real names..
