Our top ten tunes of the week – August 15

Here are the songs that have been getting us going over the last few days:

1. Passenger – To Be Free

“’To Be Free’ is a very important song for the record and also to me personally, as it’s about my grandparents,” says Passenger, aka Brighton’s Mike Rosenberg.

2. Lemon Twigs – The Fire

This is the third song released from the 15-track opus that was written, recorded, produced and mixed by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario in their home in Long Island.

3. Nonô – Bite

Brazilian singer Nonô has unleashed her debut single Bite. Fresh on the music scene and living in London, Nonô reveals her laid-back underground sensibilities on this new offering.

4. Moonlover – Wedding Day

Here’s the new video from Moonlover – aka the solo project of Quang Dinh, formerly of Little Red.

5. Ben Wright Smith – Storm Boy

Here’s the new one from the indie folk troubadour.
