Thy Art Is Murder unleash new single and announce Aus tour

Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder have formally introduced new vocalist Jerry Grimefeld with the release of their new single ‘Squeeze’, and will play three intimate headline shows in Australia this December.
After spending much of 2026 on stages across Europe, the band are coming home and trading festival crowds for far sweatier rooms: Howler in Melbourne, and Crowbar in both Sydney and Brisbane.
Grimefeld is a familiar face in Australian heavy music, though his path into the band hasn’t followed the usual script. He stepped into the role quietly earlier this year, with his first appearance coming at Melbourne’s Life’s A Beach festival, then spent the European summer winning over audiences before the band formally announced his appointment.
‘Squeeze’, out through Human Warfare, is the first proper look at this latest version of Thy Art Is Murder. It’s a vicious, disorientating deathcore track built on punishing riffs and suffocating grooves, with vocals that sound dragged through the depths of hell. It also hints at what the band have been working on behind the scenes as they continue writing new material.
December’s three dates will be the first chance for Australian fans to see Grimefeld fronting the band on home soil since his official unveiling. With venues this size, things could get particularly unpleasant, in the best possible way.
