Our top ten tunes of the week – April 18
These are the songs that have been getting us going over the past seven days:
1. Body Type – Free To Air
The track’s lead vocalist and guitarist Annabel Blackman explains, “Free To Air is about an old neighbour whose life seemed to play out entirely in his lounge room in front of the TV, which he blasted day and night. My bedroom faced onto his lounge room, so it was almost like we were waking up and watching the morning news together, or having a TV dinner after work. Definitely not that romantic in reality though.”
2. Jack River – Adolescent
This single is taken from Jack River’s debut album, Sugar Mountain, which will be getting a deluxe release on May 31.
3. Julia Jacklin – Comfort
Here’s the new live video from Julia ahead of her upcoming festival appearances at Latitude, Green Man, Shaky Knees, Pickathon and more.
4. Little May – As Loving Should
Here’s the new one from their forthcoming album, ‘Blame My Body’. Little May will be taking the album across Europe this September as support on The Rubens’ tour.
5. Droves – Bloodline
