Interview: Getting to know Ladia

Gold Coast local, Ladia has just dropped her new single. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am… Ladia, an Australian/Filipino singer songwriter from the Gold Coast who really enjoys watching cute dog videos.

Leave Me Stranded is… a result of my most private thoughts and feelings being buried underneath words of support. The song is essentially about a loved on in my life pursuing their dreams. My lyrics are an honest depiction of how I was feeling at the time, but seeing them happy now makes it all better!

Home is… anywhere my family are. I love them a whole lot… cheesy, but true.

I spend too much time…. napping.

It might surprise people to learn that… I have absolutely no sense of rhythm. It’s a little sad hahaha

I’ve never… been able to finish movies, I always fall asleep halfway through.

In the future… I would love to go back to LA and do some more writing sessions.
