Interview: Getting to know SCABZ
Newtown’s SCABZ have just revealed their new single ‘Feel Good Summer’. We asked them to tell us about themselves:
We are… Von, Lozzy, and Kane, and the band is called SCABZ.
Feel Good Summer is… our new track about climate change deniers. The lyrics are pretty much based off stuff I’ve heard people say to justify their consumption and destruction of the planet.
Home is… well, since Von did the South Coast Shuffle outta Newtown, home for us is wherever we can jam for free that’s near enough to a pub.
We spend too much time… watching Antiques Roadshow.
I’ve never… paid my taxes, and I think it’s too late to try without getting in heaps of trouble, so I’ll probably be skipping out of town one day. Felt good to get that off my chest though.
It might surprise people to learn that… Lozzy has an extensive collection of Spiderman merch.
