Our top ten tunes of the week – February 14
These are the ten songs that have been on heavy rotation in our office over the past seven days:
1. Alex Lahey – Sucker For Punishment
Alex has just announced a run of east coast US tour dates, which follow on from a UK run supporting The Regrettes, and a series of solo shows in Australia supporting City And Colour.
2. Skunk Anansie – This Means War
The video features live footage of the group on stage at Pol’and’Rock festival last year where they headlined to a huge crowd of over 850,000 fans.
3. Banoffee – Contagious
This is the third single from Banoffee’s debut album, Look At Us Now Dad, out Friday 21st February.
4. San Cisco – Reasons
Here’s the latest single from the band’s upcoming 4-song EP, Flaws, out March 27 via Nettwerk Records.
5. Wah Wah Club – Black Rainbow
Check out the new video from Wah Wah Club, who hail from Milton Keynes.
6. Odette – Feverbreak ft. Hermitude
The Sydney-based singer-songwriter has released her first new music since 2018, and it features Hermitude.
7. Erki Pärnoja – Soledad
The Estonian guitarist and songwriter releases his new album, Leva, on 12th of February.
8. Stevan – No More Regrets
Stevan is next playing at Panama Festival in Tasmania and Bad Friday Weekender, having already played at Fairgrounds, Sound On, and in support of Omar Apollo and Winston Surfshirt.
9. Stumbleine – Malibu
