Getting to know Alexis Naylor
Perth’s Alexis Naylor has an upcoming album release, PFAPL (Pages From A Past Life). We asked her to tell us about herself:
I am… Alexis Naylor, a singer songwriter. I’m currently packing merch which were perks from my latest crowdfund to tour PFAPL around Australia in 2021, taking over the back room at a friend’s place in Perth during isolation. I have been busy getting ready for my upcoming album release, May 8, drinking red wine and eating blue cheese.
Pages From a Past Life is… a lyrical and musical journey about love, loss, self talk, heartbreak, memories, broken promises and struggle… all pages from a past life.
Home is… a white Sprinter campervan named VanNessa (normally) when I haven’t moved in with friends due to COVID-19.
I spend too much time… down the YouTube rabbit hole, going to the beach to lay in the sun and napping… I bloody love naps!
I’ve never… jumped out of a plane but god I want to so bad!!!
It might surprise people to learn that… my happy place is an Op Shop… just love looking for a bargain / special treasure!
