Our top ten tunes of the week – May 22

These are the ten songs that have been on constant rotation in our HQ over the past seven days:

1. IDLES – Mr. Motivator

This is the first preview of their highly anticipated third LP, due out later this year.

2. Phoebe Bridgers – I See You

Here’s another song from her second solo album, Punisher. She has has also announced plans for a “Phoebe Bridgers’ World, Tour” – to kick off on May 26th 2020 with a livestream performance from her kitchen and running until June 6th with a show from her bed.

3. Jeremy Tuplin – Space Magic

This is the first slice from the forthcoming album ‘Violet Waves’.

4. Paradise Club – All You Got

This single is lifted from their upcoming new album, set for release on July 17.

5. Tony Njoku – </3

Tony has recently been announced as tour support for Ghostpoet on his tour later this year, on all dates from October 16.

6. CRONICLE – Need U To Want Me

Check out the new one from Swedish singer, songwriter and extreme sports lover, real name Melanie Mohlker.

7. Cubicolor – Rituals

Misfits and Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy actor Robert Sheehan delivers a captivating performance in the new Cubicolor video.

8. Tyne-James Organ – Hold Me Back

This is the first taste of new music from the 24-year-old Wollongong born singer songwriter since the release of his 2019 debut EP, Persevere.

9. Alex The Astronaut – Lost

Yes, we know that this single featured very highly in last week’s top ten, but the video has just dropped and we love it, hence its inclusion in this week’s top ten as well!

10. Lewis Coleman – Going Your Way

Here’s the second single from the Melbourne multi-instrumentalist.
