Getting to know Will Clift

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Will Clift has recently released his new single. We asked him to tell us about himself:

I am… Will Clift. A pop/RnB artist about to release my debut EP.

How is… a track I wrote whilst on a ski trip in Australia with some of my best mates. It really stemmed from the cosy feeling of sitting in front of a fire with people you’re close with.

Home is… where I’ve been isolating with my family and doggos for the last few months in QLD. I usually live in Brunswick, Melbourne but thought it might be nice to spend some time with my family on our farm and close to a beach whilst everything has been going on!

I spend too much time… watching cooking shows on YouTube with my housemates. Our favourites are Bon Appétit with Brad Leone or anything with ma boy Matty Matheson.

I’ve never… skydived. I really want to, and my dad actually used to be a skydive instructor but there’s a weight limit on a lot of places and I’m 110kgs.

It might surprise people to learn that… I play a lot of rugby union. Some days while recording this EP I’d go straight from the studio to training sessions.
