Our top ten tunes of the week – November 19

These are the songs that have been lighting our fireworks over the past seven days:

1. Billie Eilish – Therefore I Am

The five-time Grammy Award winner has released her new single, complete with a self-directed video shot in a deserted Glendale Galleria shopping mall, a familiar stomping-ground during her early teen years.

2. Tilly VW – Young Lovers Do

The Melbourne-based singer-songwriter grew up singing Paul Kelly and Missy Higgins songs around the kitchen table with her family. This is her excellent debut single.

3. Valentina Cy – Wind

The Los Angeles-bred singer-songwriter-producer is back with a new single and a video which uses iconic London as her backdrop.

4. Cosmo’s Midnight – A Million Times 

The Sydney-based twin act have released their first music video since their album release. It is one of the first tunes to showcase Pat in the lead vocalist role. 

5. Magazines – Pink and Blue

The Dublin group have a new single out and it is definitely worth three minutes of your day! Check it out.

6. Clea – Limelight

This video was shot by Jack Birtles on 16mm film, was directed by Jennifer Embelton and styled by Lily Cotter. The clip was filmed in the Scenic Rim just as the sky was thick with bushfire smoke and the land was dirt dry.

7. The Dead Amigos – 1 in 5

The Melbourne based band have dropped a new single and an accompanying stop-motion video. Check it out!

8. Thomas KeatingCold Night

“I wanted to use the video to express the difficulties that can be experienced in a relationship, how love can be beautiful but also complicated at the same time,” Thomas explains.

9. Eleri AngharadNew Sin

The Swansea-based artist’s new tune was inspired by her legendary hometown venue, Sin City.
