Getting to know Superlove

UK noise-pop trio Superlove recently released their self-titled debut EP. We asked Jacob from the band to tell us more:

We are… Superlove, a three-piece noise-pop band from the UK. Jon Worgan – Guitar & Vocals, Jacob Rice – Bass & Vocals, Alex Matthews – Drums.

‘Superlove’ is… our debut EP, five tracks of all the different styles that make our band’s sound. Expect heavy influences of pop, indie, rock and a ballad for good measure. We’ve tried to create a healthy balanced introduction to Superlove and our modern take on noise-pop as a genre.

Home is… Bristol, South West England. A city full of artistic talent and bursting with culture. The best city by far. We all live within 10 minutes of each other, so we have a really tight connection with each other and Bristol.

I spend too much time… playing video games, drinking tea and watching YouTube tutorials on how to use photoshop. Standard stuff really…

I’ve never… ever not enjoyed the company of a dog.

It might surprise people to learn that… I started playing bass for this band.
