Interview: Getting to know Mila Nile

Sydney-based, Scandi-born pop songstress Mila Nile has just revealed her new single, Don’t Need Your Love. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am… indie pop singer/songwriter Mila Nile, originally from Sweden but based in Sydney. 

Don’t Need Your Love is… my anthem for those days when I don’t feel like I’m enough. It’s a funky little affirmation that I deserve good things and good people in my life. It’s a sassy, upbeat bop about self-love, self-confidence and self-affirmation. 

Home is… not one place or one thing.

I spend too much time… thinking I’m not good enough. Hence the need for this song! I’m ready to embrace myself. 

I’ve never… attempted to drink coffee through a Tim Tam. Though I’ve heard great things. 

It might surprise people to learn that… I did show-jumping for years.
