These are the songs that have been on heavy rotation in our office over the past week. Check them out:
1. Faye Webster – A Dream With a Baseball Player
This is the fifth and final single from Faye’s brilliant new album, I Know I’m Funny, haha, which landed last week. Check out our interview with her, here.
2. Snapped Ankles – Shifting Basslines Of The Cornucopians
The band’s new record, Forest Of Your Problems, is out today on CD and digital, and in four different vinyl editions, including printed inner sleeves, a character postcard and download code.
3. Happy (you wanna be) – Jackie Brown Jr
This is a Sydney supergroup of sorts, consisting of members from Good Pash, DOBBY, and The Buoys.
4. Terry Presume – None Of This Alone
Check out the new one from the Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer and rapper.
5. Jorja Smith – Home
This new track arrives following the Grammy-nominated artist’s highly anticipated 8-track EP, Be Right Back, that dropped last month.
6. Rest For The Wicked – Bones
This is a brand new project from Melbourne artist Ben Townsend (Ivan Ooze) and Sydney based multi-skilled producer Tasker.
7. B Wise & Becca Hatch – B The One
Both hailing from Campbelltown in Western Sydney, the artists had long known of each other, but hadn’t been put directly in each other’s paths as performers until now.
8. Teenage Joans – Wine
This is the latest single from the duo’s recently released debut EP, Taste Of Me, and follows previous singles, ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Something About Being Sixteen’.
9. Annie Bass – Step Aside
This new single is the Sydney-based artist’s first release for 2021, and gives a taste of what we can expect from her upcoming EP, due later this year.
10. San Joseph – Blink Twice
The Melbourne newcomer has dropped the official video for his debut single.
