Hawthorne Heights announce Australia tour

Ohio emo pioneers Hawthorne Heights will return to Australia in April 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark album If Only You Were Lonely, performing the record in full for Australian audiences for the first time.
Originally released in 2006, If Only You Were Lonely cemented Hawthorne Heights’ place as one of the defining bands of the emo and post-hardcore era. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and remains a cornerstone release for a generation of fans.
Formed in Dayton, Ohio, Hawthorne Heights became one of the most influential bands of the mid-2000s emo explosion. Known for their emotionally charged lyrics, melodic intensity, and unforgettable anthems like “Ohio Is For Lovers,” “Niki FM,” and “Saying Sorry,” the band helped shape the sound of an era. Two decades later, Hawthorne Heights continue to connect with audiences worldwide through their powerful live performances and enduring catalogue.
Joining Hawthorne Heights on all Australian dates are special guests Armor For Sleep.
New Jersey’s Armor For Sleep are widely regarded as one of emo’s most beloved and influential acts. Best known for their iconic album What to Do When You Are Dead, the band’s atmospheric sound, emotional depth, and cinematic songwriting have earned them a devoted global fanbase.
Their return to Australia alongside Hawthorne Heights marks a rare and special pairing of two genre-defining bands.
