Why This Tour Matters
Biffy Clyro’s latest album Futique (released in September) has solidified their place as one of the most vital and fearless rock acts of their generation. It’s a record that balances vulnerability with defiance — a sonic and emotional high point that critics have hailed as one of their strongest releases yet.
For me personally, Futique is firmly in my top three albums of the year. It’s bold, meticulously layered, and brimming with the kind of songwriting that only Biffy can pull off — intricate, heartfelt, and absolutely massive when it hits live.
Why I’m Excited
Having photographed and filmed hundreds of shows over the years, I can honestly say there’s nothing quite like a Biffy Clyro performance. The chemistry between Simon Neil, James Johnston, and Ben Johnston is electric — it’s loud, emotional, and completely immersive.
This tour feels like the perfect storm: a beloved band at the peak of their creative powers, bringing one of their most inspired records to some of Australia’s most iconic rooms.
