Remix: Fred Falke x Pompeya

Pompeya are pop-funk outfit hailing from Russia that we have been grooving to this fine Saturday. Their tune, 90, has been given a loving re-work by one of our favourite dance producers, the French disco master, Fred Falke. The remix retains the nu-disco funk of the original but Falke brings his characteristic pop edge to the track. It’s very danceable.

Falke’s remix of 90 will fit snugly within the bands’ re-release of their album, Tropical which has been give new life by a selection of artists that know the right way to tweak a synth riff. The Tropical Remix Ccompilation will be released on December 10, but you may sample Fred Falke’s mix of 90, right now below:
