Getting to know Lili Kendall

LA-based Australian Lili Kendall has just dropped her new single, Lifetime. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am Lili Kendall, a 20-year-old woman/creative/human from the Gold Coast, Australia, Living in Los Angeles. I’m addicted to vegan ice cream and That 70’s Show. I love flea markets and vintage shopping. I surround myself with strong, like minded women and good energy only.

Lifetime is my perspective of a relationship and the infatuation I had with someone, written over music. I wrote it when I first moved to LA with my good friend and producer, Deaneaux. I had a lot of built up creative energy after living at home for six months and barely creating, and we made a dozen songs that weekend.

Home is and always will be Australia, I am constantly homesick and miss how beautiful it is. If my family is there, it’s home.

I spend too much time watching VICE documentaries. But honestly, who can blame me, they are so addictive…. and once you start you better believe you are not doing anything for the rest of the night.

I’ve never gone skydiving, I’ve always wanted to try it, but the idea of jumping out of a plane isn’t really something I want to pay money for…

It might surprise people to learn that I just started a private Instagram page as a safe space for women to come together, share and collaborate. It’s something I’m really excited to see grow, the people I’ve already met, and the stories I’ve heard, have given me such a different perspective and knowledge as a woman. In 2018, I hope to grow as a writer, grow as a vocalist, grow as a human and woman, grow as a spiritual being. Learn lessons, stay grateful, and love.
