The Great Escape launch The Beach
We’ve been getting excited for a while now about The Great Escape, the Brighton-based festival for new music, which returns bigger and better than ever before this May. Well our excitement levels reached 11 as the festival this week announced that they are creating their very own 2000 capacity festival site – right on Brighton beach. Last time we were on the beach with that many music lovers, Fatboy Slim was causing utter carnage with his Big Beach Boutique.
Adding to the festival’s family of 30 incredible venues, the brand new festival site will be home to two music venues to watch the very best new artists. We’ll bring you more details once they are announced, but safe to say that the beach site will be jam-packed with the most, sizzling upcoming artists.
