Our top ten tunes of the week – October 31

Here are the songs that have been lighting our fireworks over the past few days:

1. Beach House – Alien

In celebration of their Australian tour announcement, Beach House have shared new song ‘Alien’ – an outtake from the 7 album sessions, originally released as a B-side for a limited-edition, tour-only 7″.

2. San Cisco – When I Dream

The new single from San Cisco was filmed on location in Joshua Tree and directed by Kristofski – known for his work with Die Antwoord, Pond, The Babe Rainbow and many more. Look out for Aussie model Gabriella Brooks.

3. Rainbow Chan – CSR

Sydney via Hong Kong electronic-pop vocalist and producer Rainbow Chan returns with her first single of 2018.

4. Yeo – The Comments

The Melbourne-based musician and producer has returned with a new single.

5. Rat Boy – Chip on My Shoulder

Rat Boy – aka Jordan Cardy – acted as director, editor and DOP on the video, which he shot with regular visual collaborator Thomas Davis, drummer Noah Booth and friend Jack Ogles.

6. Maggie Rogers – Light On

Directed by Olivia Bee, the video was filmed during a road trip through Oregon from Mount Hood to Steens Mountain.

7. As A Rival – Coup De Main

As A Rival have dropped new single ‘Coup De Main’ in anticipation of their brand new album ‘Griefers’ – out on November 2nd.

8. Feather Touch – Need You

Sydney-based tropicalyso-disco producer, Feather Touch, is back with a new tune.

9. Donatachi – Precious Metal (ft. Rromarin)

10. Holy Holy – Faces

Ahead of their national headline tour this November + December, Holy Holy have dropped a new video.
