Getting to know Friendless

Sydney-based DJ/producer Friendless has just dropped his new single ‘Robots’. We asked him to tell us about himself:

I am… FRIENDLESS! A Sydney based electronic musician

‘Robots’ is… My first attempt at a concept track. It’s a quirky piece about the world being taken over by Robots and them doing a much better job of running the joint than humans.

Home is… the Northern Beaches. All of the swimming all of the time!

I spend too much time… in my studio. Alone. Talking to myself. Yelling at the colourful wheel of death on my computer and ignoring the rest of the world. I also spend way too much time in restaurants.

I’ve never… skydived OR played paintball. Wtf is wrong with me. I’m planning to remedy these two things ASAP.

It might surprise people to learn that… I was 22 years old when I realised that my first dog Sally didn’t go to a farm after all. This was revealed at a family dinner and I felt my entire life up to that point was a complete lie. A LIE DAMMIT. Poor Sally. It’s not her fault that humans looked so damned tasty to her.
