Our top ten tunes of the week – October 16

These are the ten songs that have been lighting our fireworks over the past seven days:

1. Jack River – Later Flight

This new track marks the first new music from Jack River since the deluxe reissue of her three-time ARIA-nominated, critically acclaimed debut LP, Sugar Mountain, in May of this year.

2. City Calm Down – Cut The Wire

Is that Beachy Head we spot? Looks like it. Oh, and hello Chloe Coles too! City Calm Down are on tour this month in Aus. Go and check them out before their indefinite hiatus.

3. E^ST – Talk Deep

Of the track, E^ST notes, “Talk Deep is about having crazy chemistry with someone and not wanting to miss out on a single second of it… Who needs sleep anyway?”

4. Green Buzzard – Nothing’s Happening Here

5. CXLOE – SICK feat. Gnash

The Sydney-bred, LA-based artist will close the year with performances at This That and Falls.

6. KAADA – Farewell

The Norway artist has just dropped the first video from the “Closing Statements” album.

7. The Sunday Estate – Let’s Stop Pretending

The guys will be hopping on stage at the Chippendale Hotel in Sydney on Oct 24 to launch the track.

8. MorMor – Won’t Let You

The Toronto-based singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist MorMor, aka Seth Nyquist, has shared a new single.

9. Dopamine – Decide

The Brisbane band have just released the video for their new single.

10. London Topaz – Back to Life (ft Emma Whines)

Here is the title track from their forthcoming debut full-length album, due for release in early 2020.
