Our top ten tunes of the week – December 13

These are the songs that have been on constant rotation in our office over the past week

1. Sam Fender & Holly Humberstone – Seventeen Going Under 

Grantham born Holly Humberstone has become the breakthrough artist of the year, picking up the BRIT Rising Star Award. Here she is with Sam, reworking his hit, Seventeen Going Under.

2. Lisa Caruso – It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas

Ahead of the heading back into the studio to record LP number two, the Sydney artist has ticked an item off the bucket list; the release of a Christmas single!

3. Kathryn Williams & Carol Ann Duffy – Dear Lord

The Mercury-nominated, folk inspired singer-songwriter has added to her impressive list of collaborators this Christmas by teaming up with celebrated poet Carol Ann Duffy. The duo have penned a cracking, Dolly Parton-inspired song. 

4. Mal de Mer- Do You See Me? 

The six-piece out of Perth have dropped an ace stop motion lyric vid, created by Mare Elzinga, to go with their new single.

5. Gretta Ray – River

Have a listen to Gretta’s reimagining of the Joni Mitchell song.

6. Jalmar – Mi Cariño (feat. Joanny) 

Jalmar will be supporting Young Franco on tour in Melbourne in January.

Bernadette Marquez (Bernie), Tiara Nyuzo and Gabrielle Montalbo (Gabby) have dropped a poppy, RnB-influenced bop for Christmas.
