Interview: Getting to Know Kezra

Naarm/Melbourne-based indie-pop artist Kezra has returned with a new offering. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am… Kezra – an Indie singer/songwriter. 

Back Home is… a song I wrote on the floor of my living room with my vocal harmoniser and my acoustic guitar. Back Home was the release I needed, to feel somewhat normal during a time of chaos, to reminisce but also let go of past feelings.

Home is… by the beach in the suburban town of Aspendale, Melbourne. Where the sounds of the ocean give me so much zen, whilst the cold salty air sticks to the windscreen of my car everyday. 

I spend too much time… eating sourdough bread, and I’m not ashamed of this. 

I’ve never… been tattooed, but sort of keen for a sneaky small one, but sort of not haha

It might surprise people to learn that… I have an excessive amount of flared pants in my wardrobe. They are essential for on stage booty groovin’ I reckon.
