Getting to Know Good Lekker

Eora/Sydney-based indie-rock band Good Lekker have just released their new EP Portraits. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

We are… Good Lekker. A Sydney/Wollongong based 6-piece indie pop/rock band.

‘Portraits’ is… our new EP. We put a lot of hard work into it and are so proud of what we’ve achieved. The EP chronicles the realisation that we’re no longer the fresh-faced kids in our first year of uni and that growing up is hard but ultimately enjoyable.

Home is… whenever we are all together.

We spend too much time… bickering. So much bickering.

We’ve never… played in WA or NT. We almost played in Perth, but the spicy cough put a stop to that.

It might surprise people to learn that… there’s at least three people who could take other’s roles in the band. Maybe we should do a show all swapped around.
