Better Lovers are here with 30 Under 13

Something You Said’s Adam Davis-Powell is excited about Better Lovers, featuring members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die and Fit For An Autopsy:

When TDEP split in 2017 I was hurt, when ETID disbanded, in what was the biggest surprise in 2022, I was straight up bummed the fuck out. But yes, your wildest dreams have come true. These two bands have joined forces, and sound exactly like you want (in the best way possible!).

Greg’s blistering vocal strength laid over, that downright Hot Damn! classic ETID. And lest we forget Grammy-fucking-winner Will Putney, I mean.. come on.. what more could you want.

Jordan Buckley and Greg Puciato have these lovely words to say:

“Looking back, I’m so happy everything got me to where I am,” explains Buckley. “The pandemic and the last few years made me hungrier and more grateful. This isn’t a hobby. This isn’t temporary. This is the next evolution for each of us. Greg and Will rejuvenated me and made me even more confident. Now, everybody needs to know we’re a wild animal that just broke out of the zoo—there’s no trying to put it back in the cage.”

“Jordan sent me some already finished instrumental tracks, and they hit me at just the right time,” adds Puciato. “Those tracks woke up a side of me that I thought was fully extinct but was merely evolving and changing. To my complete surprise there was still something left in that area to dig at, and the vessel for it made sense.”

They announced an October UK tour a blink ago, and hell yeah you know that shit sold out in days. They’re also set to be playing a bunch of North American shows in July and August.

You can bet your ass I am looking forward to more tour announcements, and prey they make their way over to Australia SOON!
