Interview: Getting to know MOZË

Yorta Yorta/Wangaratta-based soul-funk artist MOZË has dropped her latest single, Albert St. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am… on my way to LA right now!

‘Albert St.’ is… in Brunswick, Melbourne, where my friends live. After the lockdowns they had an iconic party and built a stage for their friends to perform on. I created my song ‘Albert St.’ for the event and performed it for everyone. Albert Street is a night to remember.

Home is… wherever my studio is, so currently Wangaratta.

I spend too much time… working.

I’ve never… disagreed with Lady Gaga, yet.

It might surprise people to learn that… less than 3% of music producers are women.
