Greg Puciato announces 2024 Australia tour

Meet Greg Puciato, a restless force in the world of music. You might recognize him as the talented vocalist from The Dillinger Escape Plan, a band that left an indelible mark on extreme music. But Greg’s musical journey didn’t stop there; he delved into various other projects, including Killer Be Killed and The Black Queen, showcasing his versatility.

Amidst all the collaborations and side projects, Greg always had a larger vision in mind—a solo venture with absolute creative freedom. He brought his dream to life with the help of Steve Evetts, a longtime producer for The Dillinger Escape Plan. Together, they crafted his debut album ‘Child Soldier: Creator of God,’ where Greg played most of the instruments himself. Determined to maintain control, he even founded his own record label, Federal Prisoner, to release the album independently.

In late 2020, Greg surprised fans with ‘Fuck Content,’ an experimental live album/studio EP/visual hybrid. The year 2022 saw the release of his second solo album, ‘Mirrorcell,’ which showcased his signature mix of razor-sharp alternative metal and boundless experimentation.

The year 2023 was marked by a full live band tour in the USA and Europe. And now, in January 2024, Greg has set his sights on Australia, a place he deeply connects with on a spiritual level. He’s ready to share his musical creation with Australian fans.

Joining him on this tour is King Yosef, also known as Tayves Yosef Pellitier, a prominent trap metal producer from Portland. King Yosef’s fusion of industrial and hip-hop elements creates a bombastic and heavy style that captivates audiences. His recent album, ‘An Underlying Hum,’ produced with Kurt Ballou of Converge, takes his sound to darker and more expansive territories, incorporating influences from country and folk.

Additionally, the lineup includes Trace Amount, the brainchild of Brandon Gallagher, a former member of the hardcore band Old Wounds. Trace Amount is all about confrontational and harsh industrial noise, and their debut album ‘Anti Body Language’ was released under Greg Puciato’s Federal Prisoner label.

So, get ready for an unforgettable musical experience as Greg Puciato, King Yosef, and Trace Amount come together to grace the Australian stage, promising an exceptional and diverse show for all music enthusiasts.
