ArcTanGent Festival releases monstrous first wave of bands
2024 marks a monumental milestone for the ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL as it celebrates its TENTH year. Today, we’re thrilled to unveil the first wave of bands for the upcoming event, set to take place near Bristol from August 14th to August 17th, 2024. ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL has once again secured a spot on the shortlist for Best Medium Festival at the Festival Awards, following its 2018 victory for Best Small Festival. Known for curating some of the most captivating, diverse, and exciting lineups globally, the festival continues to stand out.
Kicking off the announcements is the spectacular Belfast 4-piece, And So I Watch You From Afar, headlining Wednesday with a very special, fan-voted set. Having graced the stage at the inaugural ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL, they remain a fan favorite and one of the most requested repeat bookings. The lineup also features a farewell show from the experimental instrumental Three Trapped Tigers, who played the first-ever ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL, along with US monster moshers Red Fang in a UK festival exclusive, and exceptional Australian guitarist Plini. Additionally, the roster includes the much-loved UK stoner rock doom band Bossk, dark and heavy Danish band LLNN, Californian rock band Night Verses, and Dutch progressive metal from Textures in a UK exclusive show booking.

Although we can’t quite hit you with our headliners just yet, we’ve been sitting on too much of an incredible Wednesday lineup and too many special sets from so many of my favorite bands not to drop something. We’re honored to also have two once-in-a-lifetime sets from And So I Watch You From Afar and Three Trapped Tigers at ArcTanGent 2024. It’s going to be biblical.”
