Haywire bring the chaos Down Under

Last Ride Records has just dropped the news that hardcore heavyweights Haywire are making their way to Australia this August for a run of dates across the country, with Newcastle’s own Feel The Pain along for the ride as support.

Haywire has been a fixture in the American hardcore underground for years, carving out a sound that sits at the intersection of classic East Coast muscle and a harder, meaner breed of street punk. Their records have earned them a reputation as one of the more formidable live acts in the scene: relentless, confrontational, and built for the pit.

This will mark one of their most substantial trips to the southern hemisphere, and if you missed them on the recent Poison The Well tour, this your chance to see them in all their glory as a headliner.

Coming along for the tour is Feel The Pain, and if you’ve been paying any attention to the Newcastle hardcore scene lately, that name will mean something to you. The band has been on a serious upward trajectory over the past couple of years, steadily building a following through raw, high-energy performances and a no-bullshit approach to hardcore that’s hard to ignore.

Earlier this year they reached a genuine milestone, landing a support slot for Turnstile at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, a room that holds thousands, and a stage that very few local hardcore acts get anywhere near.

This will be one of the most high energy hardcore bills to come through Australia this year.
Don’t miss it!
