Getting To Know st.sinner

Ngunnawal/Canberra-based punk act st.sinner have just revealed their new track. We asked them to tell us about it:

We are… ADHD as heck. I’m also ANXIOUS most of the time, I am also Rory – I am in st.sinner. I also am ST.SINNER it’s a weird little thing. I am also 5’6”, I am a fan of silver jewellery. I am very happy to be answering these lil questions. 

‘HEADCASE’ is… a massive change up in genre for us and something that I’m really excited about going forward. 

It’s a song about coming to terms with the intrusive thoughts we humans sometimes have by personifying them and giving them a form. It’s about me locking up parts of myself that I deem to be ‘bad’ for want of a better word. 

Home is… where you feel safest and the most accepted. Sometimes it’s people, or things, or like….biscuits. Whenever I eat the chocolate covered teddy bear biscuits I feel at home. 

We spend too much time… worrying. I stress myself out so much, I am literally working myself up about tiny stuff 24/7. I spend way too much time worrying about the things I can’t control, which is bad. Don’t do that. 

We’ve never… found a four-leaf clover. Ever. I’m convinced they’re a myth, people made them up and they’re not real.

It might surprise people to learn that… our live shows are SUPER HIGH ENERGY. Lots of jumping, cheeky mosh pits. The occasional wall of death. The live shows we have planned will be the same whether we play to 5 people or 5000. Nuts.
