Getting to know Nathan Cavaleri
Nathan Cavaleri is in the midst of his Miracles tour. We asked him to tell us about himself:
I am… sitting at Brisbane Airport wondering how I’m going to get to my accommodation on the other side now that my flight to Cairns has been delayed beyond our van hire company’s close time. We have festival-size gear!!
Miracles is… my latest album. It was created from a place of deep truth, which forced me to confront everything that stood in the way of staying true – internal and external. Miracles as a song is a reminder to have a little more faith in the unknown by referencing the everyday mysteries that regularly reveal themselves to be good!
My current tour… has been one of my favourite means of connecting to audiences nationwide. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing people reflect back my own musical emotions in their own unique way. It shows me that we are riding this together!
Home is… family, music, friends and all the love that brings it together.
I spend too much time… anticipating shit going wrong and not enough time focused on where I want to go and the appreciation for the past and present moment, It’s something that I’m aware of and constantly working.
I’ve never… played Horses live. Should I?
