Knotfest returns to Australia in 2024

Here we go again! Knotfest is making its triumphant return to Australia in 2024 after stellar, completely sold-out shows last year. The event will bring a fusion of overwhelming heavy music and metal culture to Australia in the form of one day events in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane respectively.

The festival will host an incredible selection of sublime bands from a variety of heavy metal subgenres from all corners of the globe.

But who is exactly playing? Here’s the rundown…

Pantera

Exceptionally influential 90’s metal legends from Texas characterized by their heavy, powerful riffs and aggressive sound.

Disturbed

A band with stimulating force, a mix of powerful hard-hitting riffs, captivating melodies, and David Draiman’s powerful vocals.

Lamb of God

These boys are certain to bring a relentless intensity to the stage that will leave you in awe of their unyielding metal prowess.

Halestorm

Known for their diverse sound that incorporates elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and heavy metal with powerful vocals from front woman Lzzy Hale.

The Hu

Mongolian folk metal bringing a unique fusion of traditional Mongolian throat singing, native Mongolian instruments and powerful metal riffs.

Asking Alexandria

U.K band known for their energetic blend of dynamic riffs, compelling melodies and versatile vocals.

Wage War

Expressively resonant melodies and rampant ferociousness create a stimulating metalcore sound.

Escape the Fate

Coming from Vegas this post-hardcore group will showcase their intense guitar riffs, memorable sound and electrifying performance.

Thy Art is Murder

Hailing from Blacktown, Sydney – Thy Art Is Murder are the first homegrown band on the bill. Expect a deathcore powerhouse identified by their brutal and technically proficient sound.

Skindred

Arising from Wales and fronted by the magnetic Benji Webbe this genre-blending band are known for their unique fusion of metal, punk, reggae and electronic music.
